Which product is right for me?
Liquid, Extract,
Spoonable, Whole Leaf ?? How do I know which one to use?
As the
stevia industry grows, so do your choices. At one time your only
choices were either whole leaf stevia or stevia leaf extract.
Through technology and consumer demand new products were
developed to meet the growing needs of stevia users to make
stevia easier to use in your everyday life.
Liquid:
Our liquid stevia is called Stevia Max Liquid.
It is a water based, light amber coloured sweet liquid. This
liquid should not be confused with whole leaf stevia liquid
which is dark, thick and bitter. We currently do not offer whole
leaf liquid. Fours drops per serving is recommended for
sweetening purposes of Stevia Max Liquid but it may also be used
for baking, skin care or oral hygiene.

Extract:
This is the most common form of stevia that we call Stevia
Max Powder. This fine white powder may be called stevia
extract or concentrate stevia. Our Stevia Max Powder does not
have any other ingredients added. This powder is intensely sweet
(approx 250 times sweeter than sugar) and you would use a
toothpick to use this product in your tea or coffee. As a
popular form of stevia this powder is recommended for baking and
sweetening purposes. Our powder contains a high level of
Rebaudioside A content making it of superior quality.

Spoonable:
This word indicates that the Stevia Max Powder sweetening
intenseness has been lowered to make it a more convenient
product to use. Our Spoonable Stevia is a blend of
Stevia Max Powder, inulin (chicory root extract) and erythritol.
Being only 6 times sweeter than sugar this product can be
spooned or sprinkles onto foods. The recommended use of
Spoonable Stevia is for baking and sweetening purposes.

Whole Leaf:
Our whole
leaf stevia products come in two forms; tea cut or
fine powder (mesh 80). Tea cut is perfect for tea
and sprinkling on your salads etc. The fine powder is used for
skin care and oral hygiene. This product is 30 times sweeter
than sugar and does contain other flavours brought to it by the
other parts of the leaf. Individuals on whole food diets or raw
diets use this form of stevia for baking purposes but we would
suggest to clients not following those diets to use one of the
other above products for baking and cooking.
